Our verdict
Hiroshima is one of Japan's major historic destinations: the city rebuilt after the atomic bombing of 6 August 1945 (140,000 deaths in the long term). May is my favourite month (8.2/10): 13-22°C, 30% rain, mild temperatures before the monsoon.
