Montgenèvre, Franco-Italian ski resort at the Montgenèvre pass (1860m), gives access to the Voie Lactée area: 400 km of pistes linked with Sestrière, Sansicario and Claviere on the Italian side. July is my favourite month (8.9/10): 9-22°C, 19% rain, good for hiking, mountain bike, golf.
