Bariloche is the "little Argentine Switzerland": northern Patagonia, lakes and araucaria forests, chalet architecture. January is my favorite month (9.3/10): 50-75°F, 11% rain, 14h days, austral summer ideal for the Circuito Chico (40 miles panoramic road), Cerro Catedral (summer lift, view over Nahuel Huapi), Refugio Frey (hike to the glacial lake).
