Etosha is the reference safari park in Namibia: 8,490 sq miles around an immense dried-up salt lake that becomes blinding white. May is my favorite month (9.4/10): 59-84°F, 1% rain, animals concentrated around the permanent watering holes (Okaukuejo, Halali, Namutoni).
