Montgenèvre, Franco-Italian ski resort at the Montgenèvre pass (6,100 ft), gives access to the Voie Lactée area: 250 miles of pistes linked with Sestrière, Sansicario and Claviere on the Italian side. July is my favorite month (8.9/10): 48-72°F, 19% rain, good for hiking, mountain bike, golf.
