Our verdict

Oslo is one of Europe's most natural capitals: forests 15 minutes away (Nordmarka), 40 islands in the Oslofjord. June-July are my favorite months (7.6-7.7/10): 54-70°F, 40-42% rain, 18h days, swimming at the fjord islands (Hovedøya by ferry from Aker Brygge), festivals (Øyafestivalen early August).
